The Runestone
Year: 1990
Character: Detective
Plot Description
When an archaeologist uncovers an ancient Norse power stone, he returns with it to his New York City home. Too
bad for the relic-digger, because it's not long before an evil spirit is projected from the stone into the archaeologist,
turning him into a hairy beast. And too bad for the people of NYC, because this hairy beast goes on a vicious
marauding spree that befuddles the local police.
Quotes:
Capt. Fanducci: Whatta ya got?
Detective: The weapon was a 45- security issue. 6
shot carbine. Ya know some of them must have been
fired up next to the skin. We got hair and blood all
over the muzzle.
Detective: All right. The blood trail leads to the end of the hall
and then it goes down the stairwell. And, uh, I'm not talking drops, there's quarts
of it, but it slacks off halfway down and then just disappears.
