Rough Crossing
by: Tom Stoppard (An adaptation of Play at the Castle by Ferenc Molnar)
Directed by: Richard Kline
Dates: 1994?
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Matrix Theatre)
Character: Adam Adam
Plot Description:
As a luxury liner steams across the Atlantic, Turai and Gal try frantically to finish their play in time for the New York
opening. But the show depends on the music of a young composer. It seems his girlfriend (the leading lady) has an interest in the leading man, who isn't quite the man he used to be. Add lifeboat drills, a cognac-sipping steward,
and other storms at sea for a 1930's style screwball farce.
